YIMBY WIN- TIME TO CELEBRATE
On Tuesday night, Inner West Council approved their Fairer Future Plan, enabling more than 30,000 desperately-needed homes in the places that people want to live. YIMBYs from across Sydney fought hard for this plan- turning up to speak at forums and council meetings, signing petitions, talking to their friends and keeping the pressure on.
In the end it passed by just one vote. It's no exaggeration to say that the efforts of Sydney YIMBY members made this happen. It's a huge win.
